Sam Milby on Anne Curtis: ‘May feelings pa rin’

Sam Milby seemed clueless and shocked when ABS-CBN.com asked him about the controversial pagbabalikan with Anne Curtis na i-nispill ng Dyosa director na si Wenn Deramas. After rendering a song for the Grand Finalists of Ms. Fitrum last Saturday sa Wowowee, nagpaunlak ng isang interview si Sam before having lunch.

Agad naming itinanong kay Sam ang tungkol sa umano’y balikan blues nila ni Anne. Direk Wenn said that Sam and Anne were really sweet during the party of Dyosa and they kissed the whole night. “Hindi, dumating si Anne, and she was singing Himig ng Pag-ibig. Tapos, kumanta kami, we did a duet din, wala lang,”simpleng sagot ni Sam, as if he’s wondering how come such news popped out of nowhere.

Muli ay nanindigan si Sam na hindi sila nagkabalikan ni Anne. Kahit kay Direk Wenn pa nanggaling ang kwento about them, nanatiling matigas sa pagsabi si Sam na hindi sila nagkabalikan ni Anne. What about the sweet moments they shared that night sa taping? Almost everyone said he was a gentleman kasi kahit sinasabing wala na sila ni Anne, naroon pa rin ang pag-aalaga niya sa aktres.“Malamig talaga sa bundok, sa Tanay.Naghintay kami ng isang oras.‘Yun ang pinaka-malamig na na-experience ko rito sa Philippines. Ang lakas ng hangin!”amazed pa na kwento ni Sam about hecold weather na ating nararanasan these days. “Saka ‘yung blanket, siyempre babae siya. It’s a gentlemanly thing to do,” paliwanag pa ni Sam.

Though Direk Wenn has already said his piece about Anne and Sam, the heartthrob remained firm in saying na walang naganap na halikan. “We were hanging out the whole night though, no, walang halikan. Baka panaginip lang.Baka, it was just a kiss on the cheek or something,” pag-iwas pang sabi ni Sam. Again, Sam stressed that he and Anne did not reconcile as lovers, but they are friends.“We have a better relationship now compared to the last couple of months. We don’t get to text each other everyday but we’re friends.” 

Sam admits that he is still close to Anne’s family and that he even treated them out for dinner kahit wala na sila. “Yeah, one night we went out sa Greenbelt. I like her family kasi.”He also confessed that Anne still has a special place in his heart. “Well, the feeling, hindi naman ‘yun nawawala agad. It’s just medyo fresh so, may feelings pa rin,” very honest na sagot ni Sam. But in the end, Sam says he really has no plans of courting Anne again. “Ahh, no. Kasi kaming dalawa, naging mahirap sa amin ang break up namin. For now, I’m just so happy we’re friends again.”
