Anne Curtis has been on cloud nine ever since she got her gift from ex-boyfriend Sam Milby. Her Twitter account revealed that she received an iPad from the singer-actor who went to the U.S. for the Heartthrobs concert.
"I got a hint that she did want the iPad," he told The Buzz in an interview yesterday, April 11. "So when I was in the States, e, lumabas siya mga April 3, and it was also the playdate of our movie [Babe, I Love You]. Ayun, I just got it for her and gustong-gusto niya."
How exactly did he get the iPad, considering that it was a little difficult to acquire one due to its fast-sell rate in the U.S. "Actually, the fans helped me," Sam admitted. "The fans helped in Dallas, so thank you!"
When Anne got the gift from him, Sam related the words that came from Anne. "Sam, I love it!" he told The Buzz hosts Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino. "'Sam, I love it and I love you!' Walang ganoon?" asked Boy. Sam smiled sheepishly and said, "Sana may ganyan, but wala! Haha!"
That said, why is it that both Sam and Anne are afraid of their renewed friendship? Do both still have some things to change from their earlier experiences as a couple? "We're just friends. We already have been a through a lot and there is change and maturity now," Sam explained.

REDWOOD CITY, CA, April 8, 2010 – One of the country’s top loveteams on Philippine television, Sam Milby and Anne Curtis, renew the chemistry they forged in the megahit TFC teleseryes Maging Sino Ka Man and Diyosa and take it to the big screen in Star Cinema’s Babe, I Love You. ABS-CBN’s Starry Starry Store is bringing the film to seven U.S. cities this April: San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Seattle, Los Angeles-Cerritos, Honolulu, and New Jersey-Bergenfield.
While Babe, I Love You is the first movie team-up of Sam and Anne, movie audiences in the U.S. have trooped to their earlier films shown by Starry Starry Store: Anne in When Love Begins with Aga Muhlach and Cute Ng Ina Mo with Ai Ai delas Alas and Luis Manzano; Sam in My Big Love with Toni Gonzaga and in And I Love You So, a top—grossing film, with Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay.
Babe, I Love You, which earned P12 million on its opening day recently in the Philippines (second only to Miss You Like Crazy which took P18 million on its first day), combines the acting strengths of this former real-life couple to fashion a highly entertaining romantic comedy. At the helm is successful TV director Mae Czarina Cruz who is directing her first full-length feature film. She is, however, familiar with the on-screen capabilities and smoldering sex appeal of Sam and Anne, having directed them in Maging Sino Ka Man.
Can two people from opposite worlds actually fall in love and make it work? This is the question that Babe, I Love You tries to answer.
Nico Veneracion (Sam) is the academe’s Golden Boy: a young, smart, respected, affluent and good-looking Architecture professor on his way to becoming the next Vice Dean of the Department. He has been working hard for this to win back his mother (played by award-winning actress-director Laurice Guillen) who indirectly blames him for the death of his father.
On the other hand, Sasa Sanchez (Anne) couldn’t be living more in a parallel universe: this loud-mouthed promo girl is poor, unapologetically style- and sensibility-challenged, but never short of confidence and hope for bigger things in life. Being sexy and pretty, she loves joining beauty contests only to tank at the Q&A portion.
When the worlds of Nico and Sasa first collide, the result is cat-and-dog repulsion towards each other. But love works in mysterious ways and soon, their clashes turn into an inexplicable attraction. Addictingly drawn to each other, Nico and Sasa now need to face the next challenge in their relationship: discovering your loved one’s hidden past and finding out if you made the right decision to have a relationship in the first place. Is their love true and strong enough to be able to move on? Or is it just a strange chemical attraction?

Panay ang pagpapakuha ni Anne ng litrato na kasama si Sam at hindi nagtagal, nabalitaan ko na mag-dyowa na sila.

Sa Showtime kahapon, obvious na obvious na kinikilig ang actress/TV host nang mag-guest ang leading man niya sa Babe I Love You.
First time mag-guest ni Sam sa nasabing programa nina Anne at Vhong Navarro kaya kahit ang mga co-host niya ay kinikilig-kilig sa kanila.
Actually, parang nanawala pa nga sa sarili si Anne ha.

MARAMING tao sa sinehan nang manood kami ng LFS ng Babe, I Love You kamakalawa nang gabi sa TriNoma.
Wala kaming masyadong expectation sa pelikula dahil alam naming isa na namin itong formula mo*vie mula sa Star Cinema (na pumapatok sa takilya kaya panay ganito ang ginagawa nila), pero in fairness ay nagustuhan namin ang first movie ng dating magkasintahang Anne Curtis at Sam Milby.
Si Nico Borromeo (Sam) ay isang architecture professor, na may conflict sa kanyang propesorang ina (Laurice Guillen) na naging malamig ang trato sa kanya mula nang mamatay ang kanyang ama.
Isang gabing nakiki*pag*buno si Nico sa mga holdaper ay tinulungan siya ng promo girl na si Sasa Sanchez (Anne) gamit ang kakarag-karag nitong kotse.
Nawasak ang harapan ng kotse ni Sasa sa pagsaklolo nito kay Nico kaya sinisingil siya ng dalaga ng ‘40 kiyaw’ (P40K). Hindi pumayag magba*yad si Nico.
Sinugod si Nico ni Sasa sa eskuwelahang pinagtuturuan niya at halos maes*kandalo siya sa panini*ngil nito ng utang daw niya. Hindi pa rin siya puma*yag na makikilan ni Sasa, pero para matahimik ito ay pumayag siyang ipagmaneho ito kung saan nito gustong pumunta.
Iyung aso’t pusa nilang simula ay unti-unting humupa nang makilala nila ang isa’t isa. Magkaiba man ang kanilang mga ugali at ang mundong kinalakihan nila ay nauwi sa pag-iibigan ang kakatwang relasyon ng dalawa.

Tipikal na rich boy meets poor girl ang kuwento ng Babe, I Love You.
Kababawan lang ang pelikula at sobrang predic*table, buti na lang at bagong tambalan sa big screen ang Anne-Sam tandem.
Pareho naming gustung-gusto sina Anne at Sam kaya rin siguro na-enjoy namin ang pelikula. Bukod sa bagay sila at magka-match ang mga itsura nila ay parehong very likeable ang personality ng dalawa.
Si Sam, na kahit palaging Inglisero ang mga role (at may American twang pa rin ang Tagalog hanggang ngayon) ay palagi naming pinupuri dahil consistent siyang magaling umarte mula pa nu’ng first mo*vie niya na Close to You (2006) kasama sina John Lloyd Cruz at Bea Alonzo.
Dito ay bagay na bagay na naman kay Sam ang karakter niya bilang stuck-up na anak-mayamang propesor, na napaibig ng isang babaeng hindi niya kauri.
Ang galing umarte ni Sam na seryoso at prim and proper, hanggang sa unti-unti siyang nag-loosen up sa karakter ni Anne.
Bukod sa guwapo ay ang sexy ng katawan ni Sam, lalo na nang maghubad siya na lumitaw ang malaking tattoo ng tigre sa kanyang tagiliran.
Kering-keri ni Anne ang karakter niya na ganda-gandahang promo girl na nag-aalok ng kung anu-anong alak sa mga kalala*kihan sa bar.
Jologs kung jologs siyang bilang si Sasa, na maingay ang bunganga, makapal mag-makeup, malakas magyosi at sanay gumamit ng gay lingo tulad ng havey, kiyaw, dyowa at eklavu.
Epektibo ang pagko-comedy ni Anne at panay ang tawa ng audience sa mga nakakaaliw na hirit niya.
Ang ganda-ganda niya sa screen at ang sexy niya nang mag-two piece bikini siya sa beach at nang rumampa siya nu’ng sumali siya sa isang bikini contest.
Ang ganda ng moment nina Anne at Sam sa Q&A portion ng nasabing bikini contest na pagkatapos ay sinundan ng kanilang wholesome kissing scene.
Ang cute nu’ng eksenang sumakay ang dala*wa sa loob ng zorb at tumutumba-tumba sila ‘pag tumatayo sa tubig.
Touching din at hindi OA ang drama moment nina Anne at Sam. Si Sam ay walang keber kahit madalas siyang pinapaiyak, gaya sa emotional moment nila ng inang si Laurice Guillen.
Kaya pala walang maikuwento sina Anne at Sam tungkol sa kanilang love scene sa pelikula ay dahil wala silang ganu’ng eksena.
Hindi ito kailangan kaya okey lang din na wala.

Tipikal na rich boy meets poor girl ang kuwento ng Babe, I Love You.
Kababawan lang ang pelikula at sobrang predic*table, buti na lang at bagong tambalan sa big screen ang Anne-Sam tandem.
Pareho naming gustung-gusto sina Anne at Sam kaya rin siguro na-enjoy namin ang pelikula. Bukod sa bagay sila at magka-match ang mga itsura nila ay parehong very likeable ang personality ng dalawa.
Si Sam, na kahit palaging Inglisero ang mga role (at may American twang pa rin ang Tagalog hanggang ngayon) ay palagi naming pinupuri dahil consistent siyang magaling umarte mula pa nu’ng first mo*vie niya na Close to You (2006) kasama sina John Lloyd Cruz at Bea Alonzo.
Dito ay bagay na bagay na naman kay Sam ang karakter niya bilang stuck-up na anak-mayamang propesor, na napaibig ng isang babaeng hindi niya kauri.
Ang galing umarte ni Sam na seryoso at prim and proper, hanggang sa unti-unti siyang nag-loosen up sa karakter ni Anne.
Bukod sa guwapo ay ang sexy ng katawan ni Sam, lalo na nang maghubad siya na lumitaw ang malaking tattoo ng tigre sa kanyang tagiliran.
Kering-keri ni Anne ang karakter niya na ganda-gandahang promo girl na nag-aalok ng kung anu-anong alak sa mga kalala*kihan sa bar.
Jologs kung jologs siyang bilang si Sasa, na maingay ang bunganga, makapal mag-makeup, malakas magyosi at sanay gumamit ng gay lingo tulad ng havey, kiyaw, dyowa at eklavu.
Epektibo ang pagko-comedy ni Anne at panay ang tawa ng audience sa mga nakakaaliw na hirit niya.
Ang ganda-ganda niya sa screen at ang sexy niya nang mag-two piece bikini siya sa beach at nang rumampa siya nu’ng sumali siya sa isang bikini contest.
Ang ganda ng moment nina Anne at Sam sa Q&A portion ng nasabing bikini contest na pagkatapos ay sinundan ng kanilang wholesome kissing scene.
Ang cute nu’ng eksenang sumakay ang dala*wa sa loob ng zorb at tumutumba-tumba sila ‘pag tumatayo sa tubig.
Touching din at hindi OA ang drama moment nina Anne at Sam. Si Sam ay walang keber kahit madalas siyang pinapaiyak, gaya sa emotional moment nila ng inang si Laurice Guillen.
Kaya pala walang maikuwento sina Anne at Sam tungkol sa kanilang love scene sa pelikula ay dahil wala silang ganu’ng eksena.
Hindi ito kailangan kaya okey lang din na wala.
